Ying Li

Mine Economics Analyst, Metal and Mining, S&P Global Market Intelligence

Ying Li is the Mine Economics Analyst within the Metal and Mining Team, Her primary contributions are developing operating, financial, and valuation models, and writing related research articles.

Ying joined S&P in 2021 and is currently based in Beijing. Prior to S&P, she worked in strategy and business development at China Molybdenum. In this role, she was involved in writing company and industry analyses and analyzing the impact of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions.

Ying holds an MSc in Global management of natural resources from the University College London; an MSc in Finance and Investment from the Queen Marry University of London; a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Edinburgh.
