John Ahn is a Senior Research Analyst based in Seoul, South Korea, at Mobility Global. He is responsible for conducting in-depth research and forecasting for automotive batteries, with a focus on emerging technologies in the key markets of Japan and Korea. His work provides valuable insights into regional advancements and market dynamics in battery technology.

Before joining Mobility Global, John gained hands-on experience as a Battery Manufacturing Technology Development Engineer at Hyundai Motor Company and SK On.

John holds a Master’s degree in Innovation & Technology Management from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He also holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Manufacturing Systems & Design Engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology and Northumbria University at Newcastle, reflecting a strong technical foundation and international exposure.
